Privacy:
Sasu only sends your screenshot or copied clipboard text when you ask. Your requests go directly to your AI provider of choice. Credentials are stored securely in macOS Keychain.
Why I made this:
I recently started working in Japan and sometimes need help understanding forms and other web pages. Browser translation can rearrange or break the page layout, and pasting screenshots into an AI chat gives no on-screen guidance. And I needed a way to quickly translate selections to and from English. The app name is 指す — “to point.”
Requirements:
Requires macOS 13 or newer, Screen Recording permission, and either an invite or your own OpenAI API key.
